These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.citadelsalonspa.ca), online booking system, product purchases, salon services, and interactions with our content, including blog comments and product reviews. 1. Use of Our Website
Eligibility: You must be at least 19 years old (British Columbia’s age of majority) to use our website, book services, or make purchases. By using our site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Booking Services
Booking Process: Bookings for hair styling (e.g., weaves, braids, cuts, colors) and spa treatments (e.g., facials, massages) are managed through our website at www.citadelsalonspa.ca/book. You may select your preferred stylist, service, and time slot.
Payment: Full payment or a deposit (as specified during booking) is required to confirm your appointment. Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay). We do not store payment details.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment for a full refund or to avoid a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the service cost)
- No-shows or late cancellations may incur a fee, deductible from future bookings
Arrival: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened services or rescheduling, at our discretion, to accommodate other clients.
Service Guarantee: Per our Satisfaction Guarantee (see Section 4), if you’re not fully satisfied with a service, contact us within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment, stylist consultation, or refund.
3. Product Purchases
Online Shop: Products (e.g., shampoos, serums for African, Caucasian, and all hair types) are available at www.citadelsalonspa.ca/shop.
Payment: Payments are processed securely by third-party providers. We do not store payment details.
Shipping
- Products are shipped to the address provided during checkout
- Shipping times and costs are outlined at checkout
- Citadel is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers (e.g., Canada Post)
Returns and Refunds
- Unopened products may be returned within 14 days for a refund or exchange, subject to our Satisfaction Guarantee
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product is defective

4. Satisfaction Guarantee
Our Commitment: We strive to ensure every client leaves delighted with our unisex hair styling, spa treatments, and products. If you’re not fully satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your service or product delivery for:
- A complimentary service adjustment (e.g., restyling a weave or braid)
- A stylist consultation to address your concerns
- A refund (for services or unopened products), processed within 7 business days

Exclusions: This guarantee does not apply to dissatisfaction due to failure to follow aftercare instructions or changes in personal preference after the service.

Content Ownership: All content on our website (e.g., text, images, logos, gallery photos of weaves and braids) is owned by Citadel Salon & Spa or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Use Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Personal use (e.g., sharing gallery images on social media with credit to Citadel) is permitted.
6. User-Generated Content
Comments and Reviews: If you submit comments on our blog, product reviews, or other interactive features, you grant Citadel a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, moderate, and use your content on our website and social media.
Content Guidelines: Comments must not be unlawful, offensive, or misleading. We reserve the right to remove or moderate comments at our discretion.
Gravatar: If you use a Gravatar account for comments, your profile picture may appear publicly alongside approved comments, per Gravatar’s privacy policy.

Service Risks: Hair styling and spa treatments carry inherent risks (e.g., allergic reactions to products). We use high-quality products and trained stylists but are not liable for adverse reactions unless due to our negligence.
